Commercial Organization

The Commercial Organization owns how FlowFuse turns product capability into realized customer value — from the first commercial conversation through adoption, expansion, and long-term success. It is more than a revenue function: it is a unified commercial team responsible for building customer relationships, accelerating adoption, and scaling the business through trusted partnerships.

This page is the entry point to the section. It covers what we do, how we are organized, and where to find the detail for each function.

What we do

Our scope spans five functions, each accountable for a phase of the customer lifecycle:

  • Sales — Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities into customers; own the commercial process through close and expansion.
  • Solution Engineering — Serve as technical advisors across the lifecycle: discovery, tailored demos, proof-of-value evaluations, onboarding, and architecture guidance. (Dedicated page coming soon.)
  • Customer Success — Own onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansion; measured by customer outcomes, not just retention.
  • Professional Services — Deliver scoped, high-impact engagements that accelerate implementation and time-to-value.
  • Sales Partnerships — Extend FlowFuse's reach through resellers, referrers, and system integrators.

Together these teams form a single commercial engine aligned around one goal: helping customers succeed while scaling FlowFuse's business responsibly and sustainably.

Team

Organizational structure

The Commercial Organization is led by the VP of Sales, who oversees the five functions. Each function has distinct responsibilities, but we operate as a single, collaborative department aligned around customer value and commercial growth, with strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Marketing, and Engineering.

Each function is accountable for a specific phase of the customer journey:
